Your Texas Wedding Officiant

I'm Ashlee and I have always thought that being able to officiate a wedding would be the coolest experience. What a time to be alive when you can hop on the Internet and become an ordained wedding officiant! I got my officiant license in 2018 when one of my co-workers was having trouble finding the right fit for his wedding. I told him that I’d always wanted to officiate a wedding and after going through their wish list we realized I was the perfect fit.

It was my first time and as you can imagine I was pretty nervous. I asked everyone to please stand as the bride made her entrance, but I forgot to let them know they could all be seated before we began the ceremony. However despite that funny hiccup, I knew that I would want to do this again!

I also knew I wanted this experience for my own wedding too. Despite his fear of public speaking my brother happily agreed to officiate my wedding in 2021. Seeing the purest form of happiness on my brother’s face in our wedding video told me everything I needed to know. I knew in that moment that I was right. No matter who you are, or how much you might not like public speaking, officiating a wedding is hands down the coolest experience you can do for someone.

Thankfully I was offered a chance to officiate another wedding in the summer of 2023 and that experience was what planted the seed in my mind to begin offering my services as an ordained officiant to couples outside of my circle of family and friends.

I am so happy that you have chosen to consider me as your ceremony officiant, and I promise to let all your family and friends know that they “may now be seated”.
